Aziz Ansari
Very few comedians reach the level of film and television success that Aziz Ansari has and still perform regular stand-up comedy tour dates. While many comedians focus their stand-up routines around common, everyday events, Ansari has constructed hilarious routines around cutting edge material that could only happen to him. He caught his big break on the MTV show Human Giant and received huge laughs from his alter-ego, Raaaaaaaandy, in Funny People. Aziz can currently be found on Parks and Recreation performing his recurring role as Tom Haverford, as well as in the upcoming movie, 30 Minutes or Less, with Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, and Nick Swardson. Despite his busy and successful film and television career, Aziz still has upcoming stand-up tour dates in 2011.
Aziz Ansari was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on February 23, 1983. Shortly after his birth, his parents moved to Bennettsville, where he was given an accelerated education. While attending NYU Stern School of Business in 2001, Aziz began performing stand-up comedy tour dates around New York City, primarily at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater and Invite Them Up in the East Village. He soon began collaborating on short films with Respecto Montalban members Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel, the first being "Shutterbugs". These films were supplemented by the trio's live performances and the troupe soon signed a deal with MTV to create the sketch comedy show, Human Giant.
The show completed two seasons with the option to film a third, but Aziz left after receiving the role as Tom Haverford on the NBC sitcom, Parks and Recreation. That same year, director Judd Apatow noticed Ansari's stand-up alter ego, Randy, and decided to use the character in the film Funny People. The exposure from the role, when combined with the success of his role on Parks and Recreation, launched his acting career to the next plateau.
In 2010, Ansari received his own stand-up comedy special on Comedy Central, titled Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening. Now, Aziz's career is finally to the point where he has gone from supporting role to co-star/scene stealer, and has a number of upcoming film roles. While Aziz is working on new characters for film, he's also honing and refining his stand-up routine, including the character Randy. In 2010, Ansari embarked on Dangerously Delicious tour, which is wrapping up concert dates this summer. Tour dates in 2011 wrap up on June 26 in New Hampshire, so fans of Aziz (and Randy) on the East Coast of the US should check his schedule on Eventful. Aziz Ansari's career is set to reach new heights as it progresses; and if not, he's still got a business degree.

Public
Events, venues and calendars marked Public can be viewed by any Eventful user.
Private
Private events, venues & calendars are viewable only by you or Eventful users you specifically grant access to. They are not viewable by the general Eventful user base. You may, however, permit Eventful users who are marked as friends the right to view your event.
Events, venues, calendars and groups that are private but shareable are also known as semi-private. That is, they are not searchable in Eventful but anyone you share the URL with can view it. ICAL (short for iCalendar) is a standard calendar format that allows you to transfer events from one calendar to another via an .ics file format. An .ics file can have a single event or a list of events. You can download the .ics file and import it into your calendar for a snapshot of the data or you can subscribe and let your calendar program update the event data in your calendar automatically.
CSV
CSV (short for "comma-separated values") is a simple data format that many programs, such as Microsoft Excel, use for importing and exporting data.
You can import a list of events into Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo! Calendar, and other tools by using this CSV file.
RSS
RSS is a regularly updated summary of events that can be viewed through an RSS reader, along with links to full versions of events. When you subscribe to an RSS feed of events, you'll receive a summary of new events through your RSS reader. When you click on an RSS button, your browser may display a page of web code; if this happens, review your reader's documentation on how to subscribe to an RSS feed.
RSS readers are as numerous as the stars on a clear night during a concert at the park. To find a reader, try Google or ask your friends what they use.
